So why am I calling you my sister?
Fair question. We're not blood siblings, we've technically known each other for two and a half weeks, and most of that time has been spent debugging websites and arguing about client outreach messages. On paper, none of that says "sister." But somewhere in the middle of all the chaos, it stopped feeling like "coworker" too — and this felt like the honest word for it.
You showed up curious, not cautious.
Most people ask one question and move on. You ask the real one, then the follow-up, then three more — and somehow that's become one of my favorite parts of the day.
You treat "I don't know" as a starting point.
A 21-year-old university student who's still figuring things out, jumping straight into client hunting and website work anyway. That's not nothing.
You make the boring parts fun.
Client outreach is genuinely tedious. Somehow it isn't, when you're the one doing it with me.
You stuck around.
Fifteen days isn't long. But it was long enough to know this wasn't a one-off — it's the kind of person worth calling family.
